City workers swapped their smart suits for Lycra suits as they tackled a gruelling bike ride for charity.

19 bankers, doctors and volunteer lifeboat crew battled through a 380km ride from London to Paris to raise money for the Royal National Lifeboat Institution (RNLI), including the Chiswick branch.

RESIDENTS are being invited to have their say about how their local hospital is run.

West Middlesex University Hospital's Annual Public Meeting will take place on Tuesday July 19 and attendees will be able to put questions to the Trust Board and hear about the hospital's progress over the last year, as well as its future plans.

BOSSES at West Middlesex Hospital have asked patients to leave extra time to make appointments while major road works are being carried out in the area.

Thames Water began repair work in Twickenham Road, Isleworth, earlier this month in a bid to prevent a repeat of the flooding which affected hundreds of residents during the summer.

THE Isleworth Society are appealing for help to secure the preservation of a village green.

The society prepared and submitted to Hounslow Council a proposal to formally register The Green in North Street, which would more firmly secure prevention of any development there in the future.
