A benefit cheat who claimed more than £860 in housing allowances has been prosecuted by the council.

Kevin Richardson, 50, of Worton Road, Isleworth, was found guilty of fraud after failing to notify Hounslow council that his job-seekers allowance had ended, meaning he was no longer automatically entitled to claim housing benefit.

The Isleworth grandad who fell asleep at the wheel killing his wife and granddaughter was sentenced in a New Zealand court today.

Michael Eades, 62, pleaded guilty to three counts of careless driving causing death and was sentenced to 150 hours community work and banned from driving for a year.
