'Baby Cafe' opens in Iswleworth

Posted by Jessica Thomas on Jan 15, 10 04:04 PM in What's On

A baby cafe has opened in Isleworth to help new mums with breast feeding.

Funded by Hounslow Primary Care Trust, the drop in centre is now running every Thursday from 12.30 to 2.30, during term time, at South Isleworth Children's Centre in Worple Road.

Liz Lambourne, one of the two breast feeding councillors who will be on hand to help the mums, said: "There are already a number of breast feeding drop in centres around Hounslow but this one is to have more of a community feel.

"Somewhere where you can drop in, have a cup of tea and meet other mums, as well as being able to ask any questions and get advice.

"It's more like a baby cafe."

To find out more about the drop in centre you can ring West Middlesex Hospital's maternity unit on 0208 321 2581
