Hunt for 'dying' cat named after rock legend Syd Barrett

Posted by Robert Cumber on Dec 7, 09 04:08 PM in People

A woman has issued a desperate appeal for help finding her 'dying' cat, named after the late Pink Floyd singer Syd Barrett.

The two-year-old tabby went missing from Anna Kesselaar's home, in Mill Platt Avenue, Isleworth, last Thursday.

He was being treated for trauma after being attacked by another animal and still had a shaved tail and a drain in his back.

Ms Kesselaar, a 66-year-old adult course manager, said her vet had told her the rescue cat would die unless he is found soon. She added that she would do anything to get him back.

If you think you may have seen Syd, please call Ms Kesselaar on 07847 149 191 or 020 8847 1784, or her daughter Alexa Kesselaar on 07958 483 279.

We'd like to hear from you.
