Thornbury Road in Isleworth closed for urgent repairs

Posted by Jessica Thomas on Nov 19, 09 03:21 PM in Local Authority

Northbound traffic on Thornbury Road is closed whilst urgent repairs are made to a sewer.

Due to the location of the private sewer near 124 Thornbury Road, just South of its junction with Thornbury Avenue and less than 70m from the junction with the A4 Great West Road, traffic flow can not be maintained and the road will be closed to Northbound traffic between Church Road and the A4.

Traffic heading southbound in Thornbury Road or turning from the A4 will not be affected.

A temporary diversion will be signed via Church Road, Osterley Road, to A4; this is also the route that the northbound H28 bus will follow.

Additional parking restrictions will be placed in the vicinity of the works and at the junction of Thornbury Road and Church Road to assist with traffic flows.

The work will start at 9:30am on Monday 23 November. It is anticipated that the works will take no more than five days to complete.

We'd like to hear from you.

Has the funding of local journalism dropped so low that you guys can no longer afford a spell-checker?
