A grandfather will face criminal charges after causing the death of three members of his family in a New Zealand car crash, it has been reported.

Geoff Eades will be charged with careless driving causing death, after falling asleep at the wheel with his granddaughter, cousin and wife in the car, New Brighton police told local newspaper, The Dominion Post.

Wouldn't it be great if there were alternatives to war? There are! Quaker peace workers will be talking about Peace Child International and other projects which attempt to prevent conflict before it happens. These are part of the Quaker run peaceworker scheme to boost organisations working for peace.

West Thames College opened its Grade II listed Spring Grove House to the public this week as part of London Open House Weekend.

The annual event offers the public free access to buildings of architectural or historical interest across London, with Spring Grove House, formerly Pears House being recognised as a fine example of 18th century architecture.

Preperations for next weekend's Isleworth Flower Festival are under way with a whole host of businesses having pledged to take part.
