Wind in the Willows

Isleworth Actors Company have released tickets for their latest performance.
The group are to be performing a new adaptation of The Wind In The Willows to celebrate the famous book's centenary.
Showings will be at Isleworth Public Hall in South Street at 7.30pm on April 29 & 30 and May 1 - 9.
Previous successful productions by the group include The Tempest, A Taste of Honey, Happy as a Sandbag and Twelfth Night.

This seasons's guided heritage walks start Bank Holiday Monday, 25th May 2009 with a one-off tour of Hidden Isleworth, including a visit to St. Bridget's Roman Catholic Church in its centenary year.

Meet 2.30 p.m. at the War Memorial, junction South Street/Twickenham Road, Isleworth, cost £2 (children free). Teas available afterwards in the church to round things off in a convivial way.

The Isleworth Society meets Monday 27th April, 2009, 7.30 p.m. at Isleworth Public Hall, South Street. Highlight of the evening is a truly inspired illustrated talk "Landscape Artist Turner and his local connections" by Catherine Parry-Wingfield, art historian and Chairman of the Friends of Turner's House.
