Thanks from West Mid's children's ward

J-Lewis-chris-pres-081.jpgWest Middlesex Hospital have extended their thanks towards John Lewis for the huge donation of toys they had delivered for the sick children.

Lene Wood, Kingston John Lewis community liason officer visited the hospital on Wednesday with a selection of goodies for the children on the Starlight Ward.

Also there to visit the new "Natural Birth Centre" which Kingston's John Lewis also furnished, Lene said: "John Lewis loves helping the community in which we trade and in particular local hospitals.

"It can be a miserable time at Christmas if you are spending it at hospital and we are hoping to bring a few smiles ot the children here at West Mid."

Ward teacher Margaret Houlton, said: "John Lewis have donated toys and furniture, much of which we would never have been able to afford.

"We would like to give them a massive thank you for their consistent generosity as they have been a huge supporter of the hospital over the years."
