Being described as 'A tea-mad Isleworth man' is a strange feeling. I am, and so I suppose this is a suitable description, however it does make it hit home what I have just started.
I, Mike Hasler, of Worton Road,(here on the right at Tiger Hill), have just set off on a seven month journey, travelling 15,000km across eighteen countries in three-wheeled auto-rickshaws with a top speed of 31mph.
Take part in the world's biggest coffee morning in isleworth and help Macmillan Cancer Support.
People all over the UK will be taking part in the event on Friday, September 26, with one coffee morning taking place in St Mary's Church Centenary Hall, in Osterley Road, Isleworth, from 10am till noon.
Footballers of all ages took part in an football fun day on Sunday.
Hounslow Hawks ran the day, which invited footballers of all standards to take part in a four-hour, five-a-side tournament at Old Isleworthians in Wood Lane.
Isleworth Safer Neighbourhood Team are holding twice weekly surgeries at the Town Hall.
The next surgery to be held at the hall in South Street, Isleworth will be Friday, August 23.

Isleworth couple Garima and Rohit Srivastava used the powers of the internet to name their recently born son.
Rishaan weighed 5lb 7oz at the time of his birth, on July 23, at West Middlesex Hospital.
Let's hope smiles like these are a common site around the borough as students collect their A-level results.

Hounslow Hawks Football Club will be running a football fun day on Sunday 17 August at Old Isleworthians in Wood Lane, Isleworth.
Keen footballers are invited to take part in a four hour five-a-side tournament, between 1-5pm. Other attractions will include penalty shoot-outs, competitions, kid's rides, games and stalls. Refreshments and a barbeque will also be on offer.
A call for midwives has been launched by West Middlesex University Hospital following the expansion of their maternity ward.
The hospital need midwives from the local area to join their expanding maternity team to cope with the rising numbers of new borns at its new maternity ward (pictured), due to open in the autumn.
